ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2205430
• Location: Zanesville, OH
• Target Start: Mid-October
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details: 24- hour In-house coverage from (8am-8am). Covering well baby, Special Care Nursery (level II), attendance at high-risk deliveries, pediatric admission, ED consults & pediatric emergencies.
• Patients per day: Admissions Well-baby – 4-5 per day, Special Care Nursery – 1 per day, Pediatrics -2 per week, Inpatients Well-baby- 5-6 per day, ICU Special Care Nursery 2-3 per day.
• EMR: MedTech with transition to Epic in November.
• Department description: Admission pediatric, Inpatient peds, ICU.
• Hospital bed size: Total Well baby – 28 mother/infant beds Peds Beds – 6 beds Max of 29 infants.
• Special procedures: Intubations, UAC/UVC, Thoracocentesis, Chest tube placement, Arterial blood draw, ventilator management, lumbar puncture, circumcisions, and frenectomy.
• Required: Board Certification, DEA, PALS, NRP, Active OH license, 2 years’ experience
