Locum Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity

Job description

We are partnering with a Hospital in MN seeking a Locum Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team. This role involves daily on-site shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM, providing essential pediatric care. The ideal candidate will have experience with nursery rounding, neonatal code response, and circumcisions, and be comfortable taking ED consult calls for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including nursery rounding.
• Respond to neonatal codes.
• Perform circumcisions.
• Take consult calls for pediatric patients in the emergency room.
• Work in coordination with the support staff.
• Manage a patient load of 9-13 patients per day.

Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician.
• Proficient in nursery rounding and neonatal code response.
• Skilled in performing circumcisions.
• Comfortable with taking ED consult calls for pediatric patients.

Current dates needed:
• Sept: 3-11, 13-18, 20, 23-28
• Oct: 4-9, 11-12, 17-24, 28-31
• Nov: 1-8, 17-30
• Dec: 1-18, 23-26, 30-31
