POSITION OVERVIEW

MedlinkHealth Anesthesia is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Kearney, Nebraska.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Interventional Radiologist interested in providing comprehensive image-guided procedural services in a collaborative hospital environment.

The physician will play an important role in maintaining essential Interventional Radiology services at a Level II Trauma Center while the facility recruits a permanent provider.

November 23–27, 2026

December 7–11, 2026

December 14–18, 2026

December 28–31, 2026

January 18–22, 2027

March 15–19, 2027

March 29–April 2, 2027

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Providers may be considered based on availability for the listed coverage periods.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The physician will provide comprehensive Interventional Radiology services, including:

Spine procedures, including pain management injections and vertebral augmentation

Port placements and central line placements

Solid organ biopsies and drainages

Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies

Kyphoplasty

Breast biopsies

General Interventional Radiology procedures as required

FACILITY & CLINICAL ENVIRONMENT

Level II Trauma Center

Approximately 175-bed hospital

Epic electronic medical record system

Dedicated technologist and nursing support

Collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team

PA support for barium studies, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis

SCHEDULE & CALL

Monday–Friday

8:00 AM–5:00 PM

No scheduled weekend requirements

No on-call coverage required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Board Certification in Interventional Radiology

MD or DO

Active Nebraska medical license preferred

IMLC eligibility preferred

Recent Interventional Radiology clinical experience

Broad-based procedural experience

Clean background and malpractice history preferred
