Facility:
This established medical center is a level 2 trauma facility with a pediatric level 1 designation, offering comprehensive healthcare services to the Detroit community. The facility features a 99-bed department and utilizes Cerner EMR, with a transition from Change Health PACS to Sectra PACS planned for July, providing a modern and evolving clinical environment.

Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Breast Only

Job Details:

• On-site breast imaging position working 2-3 days per week, 2-4 weeks per month
• Local candidates only are being considered at this time
• Fellowship trained radiologist required to provide coverage for screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
• Proficiency in image-guided procedures required, including biopsies, localizations, and aspirations
• Must be highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
• Detail-oriented reporting skills required
• Must be comfortable managing same-day diagnostic workups
• Strong patient-facing communication skills required, as results and procedures are often discussed directly with patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinic-based environment is essential
• Must be able to collaborate closely with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams
• Workload breakdown: Screening Mammography 45-55% (approximately 35-40 per shift), Diagnostics 25-35%, Procedures 15-25%
• 40-50 patient encounters per shift
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Board certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active Michigan medical license required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
