JOB DESCRIPTION
An open position for Section Chief of Trauma Radiology with a reputable client in Baltimore, Maryland.
About the Position:
Level I trauma center
Shift Information: 7a-4p and 4p-11p
Schedule: 3.5 clinical days per week and 1.5 days of admin
No call
Will attend meetings and oversee the department
Predominately CT, will have a good volume of US and Xray as well
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified

QUALIFICATIONS
Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Radiology
Five years of Chief of Trauma Radiology
Open to Residents and Fellows
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician Maryland state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
Two years of work experience as Radiologist
One year of EMR experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
