Work Details

High-volume weekend coverage; must read all studies during shift
Avg volume: ~130–140 weekday equivalent; 150–180 weekends
Case mix: CT & plain films (heaviest), MRI, ultrasound
No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast
Some ED pediatric trauma exposure (primarily adult/geriatric)
Another radiologist onsite 8am–1pm; main need is 10-hr shifts
Minimum 1 weekend/month (more preferred)
2 weekday onsite days required pre-start for training/QA observation

Requirements

Board Certified Diagnostic Radiology
Unrestricted CA license, DEA, BLS or ACLS
1+ year experience; body imager preferred
Onsite only | No call | EPIC EMR

Contract

13+ weeks, weekends only (2×10s)
1 position | Credentialing ~30+ days
Not willing to license
Serves Long Beach Medical Center and adjacent Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital (connected campuses).
