This Level 1 trauma center is a well-established medical facility offering comprehensive cancer care services, including a dedicated Radiation Oncology department. The facility provides strong administrative support and will arrange lodging accommodations for locum providers, ensuring a seamless and comfortable assignment experience.

Job Details:

• Provide Radiation Oncology coverage for the following dates: October 12-16 and December 28-31
• Provider must be on-site during all scheduled hours and dates
• Regular on-site hours are weekdays from 0700 to 1500
• See patients in office as needed
• Oversee scheduled radiation treatments; physician must be on-site while radiation treatments are being administered
• May be called to round and consult on inpatients
• Required to see new consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning for new patients, and OTV (on treatment weekly visits)
• Documentation of patient contact hours is required
• No formal on-call or after-hours requirement; rare emergent consultations may occur once or twice per year but no callback obligation
• Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC required
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 10 days
• Nearest major airport is Pittsburgh; facility will arrange lodging accommodations
