Facility:
This ACR, ACoS, HFAP, and NSABP accredited healthcare facility offers a fully paperless and filmless environment equipped with state-of-the-art radiation oncology technology, including Varian TrueBeam and Trilogy linear accelerators with CBCT and VMAT capabilities, as well as Elekta-Nucletron HDR with Oncentra. The facility is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team including clinical management, physicists, RNs, and radiation therapists, along with in-house pharmacy, palliative care, spiritual care, financial counseling, and medical nutritional treatment services.

Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

  • Locums-to-perm opportunity beginning 10/26/2026 with no call requirements
  • 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, with 8-hour clinical days
  • Schedule may be adjusted (e.g., Tuesday through Friday) or expanded to five days if attending physician is absent, totaling eight working days per pay period
  • 7-10 patients per day depending on new or follow-up visits, add-ons, and urgent visits
  • One day per week reserved for On Treatment Visits (OTV)
  • Patient encounters per shift: 7-12 follow-up, 12-15 active treatment
  • Must hold an active Ohio license or IMLC
  • Board certification required; credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
  • BLS and ABLS certifications required
  • Required brachytherapy skills: Intracavitary (e.g., Mammosite)
  • Required external beam therapy skills: Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, and Electrons
  • Required techniques: Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
  • Required treatment planning skills: Conventional treatment planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI), and Clinical Trials
  • Nearest airport: CMH (Columbus)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
