Hematology/Oncology NP/PA Needed in Seaside, OR:
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: December 1, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No Call
Practice Details
Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
Approximately 10 patients per day
EMR: Epic
No inpatient rounding
Work alongside an oncologist, with some independent practice days
Newly renovated cancer clinic with a multidisciplinary support team, including:
Infusion nurses
Oncology nurse navigator
Medical assistants
Oncology dietitian
Social worker
Schedulers
Oncology Palliative Care team
Clinical Responsibilities
Manage hematology and oncology patients in the outpatient clinic
Manage patients receiving treatment in the infusion suite
Review and respond to laboratory results
Manage patient in-basket messages
Collaborate with the oncology navigator to triage patient calls
Coordinate ongoing oncology care with the multidisciplinary team
Requirements
Board Certified
Active Oregon license
Active DEA
BLS certification
AONCP Certification is required
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
