ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Start date: May
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details: 5 8-hour day shifts. Approximately 20 hours/week will be spent in the outpatient clinic, the other will be doing inpatient consults
• Schedule: (8a - 4p) or (8a-5p)
• Call requirements: Must be available for both weeknight and weekend call. Callback is very rare (0-4x/year that they are ever physically called in).
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 weeks/month. 40-hour week working both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient.
• Patients per day: 8-10 in outpatient clinic; 1-4 over in inpatient (patients coming out of PICU)
• Patient population/age: Pediatrics
• EMR: Epic
• Interview process: Providers that are not local will be flown in to interview in person with the Chair/other leadership
• Required: Board Certified, Active IL license or IMLC, DEA/CSR, 2 years’ experience
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
