Pediatric Pulmonary Physician needed in Illinois

Specialty: Peds Pulmonology
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing – May start date as target. Will connect with Saba to see how quickly an expedited file request may be able to be finalized.
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Shift Details: 5 8 hour day shifts. Approximately 20 hours/week will be spent in the outpatient clinic, the other will be doing inpatient consults
Schedule: 8a - 4p or 8a-5p
Call requirements: Must be available for both weeknight and weekend call. Callback is very rare (0-4x/year that they are ever physically called in).
Interview process: Providers that are not local will be flown in to interview in person with the Chair/other leadership.
Work Details:
Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 weeks/month. 40 hour week working both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient.
Patients per day: 8-10 in outpatient clinic; 1-4 over in inpatient (patients coming out of PICU)
Patient population/age: Pediatrics
EMR: Epic
Hospital bed size: 671
Skills required: 2 years experience. BC (ABP) in Pediatric Pulmonology

License required: must be IL or IMLC licensed due to urgency of need
