Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans

- Prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications

- Collaborate with facility treatment teams

- Complete statutorily required assessments of criminal competency for the courts

- Consult with the facility treatment teams to develop treatment plans



Requirements:

- MD/DO and BE/BC in Psychiatry

- Graduate of an ACGME-approved Psychiatry Residency

- Eligible to obtain unrestricted medical license in Oregon

- Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Psych experience



Details:

- Full-time or part-time position available

- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

- Patient population: Adults

- Admissions: 6-10

- Patients Per Day: 6-11

- Cases: Anxiety, Depression, SMI, ADHD, ADD, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenic disorder, Schizophrenia and personality disorder patients, Mood Disorders, and some suicidal thoughts, Detox and addiction

- 8 hours minimum up to 40 hours a week (Hours/days are flexible for in-person consultations, and paperwork can be completed from home)
