Position Overview

A facility in New York is seeking a Board-Certified Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. This is a high-responsibility role serving as the primary physician on an inpatient unit with strong APP support.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
Inpatient onsite coverage
1–2 weekends per month (onsite if called in)
One weeknight phone-only coverage
Clinical Details
Adult inpatient psychiatry (ages 18+)
14-bed inpatient unit
Sole physician coverage on unit
Supported by 1–2 Nurse Practitioners
EMR: Epic
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified in Psychiatry (Required)
Active New York medical license required
Inpatient adult psychiatry experience required
