California Psychiatrist needed in the Bay Area!

Job description

Acute psy IP unit
• Adult/Geri
• Full-time, Mon through Fri 8a-4:30p (1/2 hour lunch break)
• 14 caseload/67 total beds
• Required experience with: Anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, psychosis
• Preferred experience with: eating & developmental disorder
• Familiarity with: group/family therapy, involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy and restraint preferred
• 60 day cred; opportunity to expedite, potential cost involved to do so (without will be 120-180 days)
• Will be on-call schedule; 1 weekend per month Sat & Sun 8-4 rounding
• Must be BC
• RNs, Social Workers, hospitalist does H&Ps
• 2-3 admits per day-psy responsible for admits

• We cover Travel and Lodging
• $275/hr + stay
• Malpractice insurance is covered
