Job description

We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner for one of our clients in Augusta, ME.

Job Description:

Performing physical exams and patient observations.
Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
Diagnosing health issues.
Administering medicine and other treatments.
Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
Assesses diagnoses and treats patients attending primary health care services with a range of acute, non-acute and chronic medical conditions.
Primary care and preventive management for long-term patients as well as managing acute medical issues as they arise for a complex patient population.

Work hours:

Monday - Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
Additional Information:

Provide coverage on units for vacations
Board certified or eligible required
Assignment Timeframe: 3 months
No call obligation
Patient Panel: 10-12 patients
Average Length of Stay: 100 days
