24 hour Surgical Podiatry Call Coverage in MN

Practice Details

- Specialty: Surgical Podiatry
- EMR system: EPIC
- ASAP for 5-6 Months
- Locums Shift Schedule: Coverage needed every other week. Weekday call 6a Mon to 5pm Fri ; Day could consist of some clinic/OR time; Will be covering 24hr call both sites each day and travel to and from (30 min drive) ; can respond to patients mid-day or end of work day.
- Type of patients / cases / procedures required: Adults ; Wound Care experience preferred
- Patient Encounters per shift: 24 PPD if covering in clinic ; 3 consults per day while being on call ; variable post/op rounding
- Available support staff: Hospitalist works 4 hours a few days a week ; in clinic (case manager, surg schedulers, nurse triage) ; Solo while working in Hospital
- Certifications required: Board certified or eligible with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery OR - American Board of Podiatric Medicine; Surgery experience required; BLS/ATLS
- Active MN license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
- Min 1 week a month to be considered
- Ideal Candidate Description: Experience partnering with Vascular Surgery
- Miscellaneous: The Podiatrists have 4-24hrs to respond depending on how urgent the case is. routine calls after 7pm-8pm are responded the next day. Podiatrists will not get called middle of the night. Could answer consults early in the morning before clinic.
- Location: St. Paul, MN area- Travel coverage provided

• ASAP start date- Can credential in time for December
• Minimum 1 week/month
• Travel coverage provided- will consider IMLC candidates
