Physiatrist (PM&R) Locums – Missouri | Inpatient Rehab

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Physiatrist to provide locums coverage at an 18-bed inpatient rehab unit in Missouri. This opportunity offers a supportive team, flexible dates, and a chance to step into a well-run program with Epic EMR.

Position Highlights

Flexible Coverage: Starting 11/27/25 (or as soon as credentialed), with blocks in late November and late December; 3-month ongoing contract.

Manageable Census: Round on an average of 10–12 patients/day (max 18).

Collaborative Team: Work alongside nursing, intake, PT, OT, SLP, and specialty consults.

Nov 27–30, 2025

Dec 19, 2025 – Jan 1, 2026

7a–7p, rounding daily 8a–3/4p

Setting: Hospital-based, inpatient acute rehab unit (18 beds).

EMR: Epic.

Responsibilities: Rounding, admissions, team conference leadership, full inpatient rehab documentation (H&P, 4-day POC, team conference, progress notes 3x/week, discharge summaries).

Requirements

Board Certification: PM&R (required).

License: Active MO license (required; temps offered, 30–45 days).

Certifications: DEA required.

Experience: Will accept new grads; experience preferred.
