PM&R Physician- Augusta, ME

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: starting December for a 3 month assignment likely to extend. Monday-Friday.
Job Setting: Hospital (there will also be an outpatient aspect to the job, located at a clinic.)
Type of Patients/Cases: Primarily Geriatric, Rehab Dx CVA, TBI SCI, Ortho-Fx, Multi-trauma, complex medical, Amputee.
*****EMG EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED*****
Patients per Day: 12-bed unit, ADC target 10.9
Number of Beds in Unit: 12
Other provider and Support staff: 1 inpatient physiatrist, 3 outpatient physiatrist that share weekend/holiday call. 24/7 hospitalist coverage for the unit
Credentialing Timeframe:8-10 weeks CAN BE EXPEDITED FOR CLEAN FILES
Miscellaneous Information: Joint Commission Stroke Rehabilitation Certification, Our rehab unit has 12 private rooms, lift systems in each room, one bariatric room, telemetry ready, horticulture program and mobility garden, and specialty programs. Our most common diagnosis include: stroke, neurological disorders, Hip FX, amputation, SCI, deconditioning, multi-trauma, and BI.

Airfare, lodging, and rental provided + malpractice insurance
Full-time preferred, 1-2 weeks/month considered
AMN will cover costs and assist with ME state license if needed
Must be Board Certified in PM&R
