The Physical Therapist will primarily provide outpaent rehabilitaon services inan in-home seng for the older adult populaon. The in-home seng could be a paent’s privateresidence or in a paent’s room in an independent living facility. Powerback Rehabilitaon To Youallows the Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat in the most funconal environment which is thepaent's home. The Physical Therapist assesses the need for, develops, and delivers physical therapyprograms to facilitate rehabilitaon. The Physical Therapist idenes the need for and makes referral(s)to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of paents. They implement individualizedtherapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. In addion, the PhysicalTherapist instructs, educates and trains paents and caregivers in those skills and funcons essenal forpromong independence and producvity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. They directacvies to promote and maintain health. This posion provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various sengs.
