POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for creating a positive pediatric patient experience the dentist diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, and related oral structures by performing the following duties. Responsible for providing quality dental care, creating positive patient experiences, and management a productive dental practice utilizing best practices. Leads the team by example, setting standards, providing technical feedback.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides quality dental care to assigned patients utilizing best practices within the scope and

training of the provider, to include:

Provides leadership to the team ensuring positive patient experiences

Communicates with team members promoting an understanding of the patients needs

Application of dental treatment modalities for prevention of dental diseases.

Treatment of dental disease.

Restoration of defective or decayed teeth.

Creation of restorations, crowns, bridges or dentures.

Dental procedures performed in the oral cavity.

Performance of surgical procedures of hard and soft tissue in and about the oral cavity.

Educates patient in oral and dental hygiene.

Manage cases presenting with out-of-the ordinary dental health problems to include patients with behavioral problems.
