Pediatric Provider Opportunity
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, with option to extend

Position Details
• Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour days with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Patient Load: 18+ patients per day (may vary due to cancellations)
• Patient Population: Newborns to geriatrics

Work Environment
• Setting: Outpatient, Ambulatory - Community Health Center
• Support Staff:
o Dedicated medical assistant per provider
o Receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians
o Most clinics have an onsite pediatrician
o Local healthcare administrator for timecard submission
• Community Focus: Serving vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees
o Onsite interpretive services available
o Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
• EMR: EPIC

Skills & Expectations
• Must be ready to provide patient care by day 3 after a 1-week orientation
• Fast-paced environment, high patient volume
• Provider must be experienced with EPIC

• Travel: Flight, rental car/mileage, and lodging are fully covered

Requirements
• Board Certification: BC/BE in Pediatrics
• Licensure: Active WA medical license required (no exceptions for non-licensed candidates)
• DEA: Active WA DEA license required
• Certifications: To be confirmed during credentialing (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
• Experience: Must have a clean background (no malpractice considered)

• Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
• Vaccination Requirements: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory
