Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric care with 2-4 patient encounters per shift
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• Required certifications include BLS and PALS
• Preferred skills include non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff)
• Ventilation management experience preferred for both newborn and pediatric patients (acute and chronic)
• Intubation skills preferred for newborns and pediatric patients (ETT/NT)
• Procedural skills preferred including conscious sedation, deep sedation, central lines, and arterial lines
• Neonatal procedures preferred: UVC, UAC placement
• Additional preferred procedures: lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion
• Needle pneumothorax decompression skills preferred
• Diagnostic interpretation skills preferred: X-ray and EKG interpretation
• Minor surgical skills preferred: suturing minor lacerations and circumcision
• PA catheter and exchange transfusion experience preferred
• Must hold active Tennessee medical license
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
