Permanent Pediatrician needed in Port Royal, South Carolina

• Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~30-45 days
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• EMR/Charting Software: E-Clinical
• Position Type: FTE, W2, Salaried

Job Overview:
• We are seeking a Pediatrician for a permanent position in an outpatient clinic in Port Royal, SC. The physician will work with a dedicated team and handle a diverse range of responsibilities, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, and supervising non-physician staff.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat pediatric illnesses, conditions, injuries, and emergencies
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collect and maintain patient histories and records
• Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and specialized care
• Communicate test results and treatments to patients and their families
• Advise patients and families on health maintenance, including diet, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Supervise and mentor mid-level practitioners and other medical staff
• Serve as an on-call pediatrician in rotation with other team members

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required in Pediatrics
• State License: Active South Carolina state medical license
• Certifications: BLS required
• DEA: Required
• Experience: No minimum experience required
