• Location: Columbia, SC
• Target Start: December
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Call Coverage: Weekend call (Friday 7am start – Monday 7am end)
• Schedule Details:
o December 31-January 6 urgently
o 2025 TBD
• Support staff: 1 RN, 2 CMA, 2 front desk staff. Pediatric specialties available for back up among other specialties.
• Department Description: Pediatric surgery unit, includes neonatal surgery and ECMO cannulation. Pediatric Trauma for 14 years and under.
• Patient Volume: varies
• Patient Age Group: pediatrics
• # of Beds: 16 PICU, 78 beds
• EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
• Special Procedures Required: Arterial lines, thoracentesis, chest tube insertions, needle pneumothorax, decompression, x-ray interpretation, suturing, supervising other healthcare providers
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active SC License or IMLC, **Will License, DEA, BLS, ACLS
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
