Pediatrician Needed in Pennsylvania

Job description

• MD/DO Only
• BE/BC
• Provider must have 1 year of relevant experience
• Hours: 8:30a – 4:30p,
• Additional need is ongoing
• *Practice is 90% outpatient
• Temp privileges will be sought in order to get the provider privileged in time.
• *Required Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Further details:
o In-House Rounding: (all patients, both practices), usually 1-2 babies in nursery. Rarely have an inpatient, rounding on sick children
o Can split time between two sites
o *Level I nursery | 230-250 births/year
o *No NICU, instituted telemedicine for Neonatology on the floors with Children’s in Pitts.
o *Higher level care PEDS transferred (sick babies transferred to Pittsburgh, Geisinger, Buffalo or Dubois) Generally, takes a 44-48 hour work week (including non face-to-face time to complete charts at end of day)
o *OBs doing circumcisions
