📢 Now Hiring: Pediatrician – Locum Tenens Opportunity in Bronx, New York! | Local Candidates Only

📍 Position Details:
• Location: Bronx, NY
• Practice Setting: Pediatrics Clinic within an inpatient Pediatric Psychiatric Facility
• Start Date: 2/10/2025 or as soon as credentialed
• Shift/Schedule Details: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
• Contract Length: 3-months or 6-months
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
• Duties: The facility is seeking a Pediatrician who can handle a heavy patient caseload, requires extensive walking, multiple locations or wards within the facility, etc. The pediatrician operates mostly in the pediatrics clinic supported by a clinic nurse. They serve an in-patient psychiatric population. Evaluating new admissions, patients with medical problems, ordering labs and consults and following up on the results. They work with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate the case. It may require walking to the units or the admissions area.
• Patient Population: Pediatrics (inpatient pediatric psychiatric patients visiting the clinic)
• Patient Volume Avg. Daily Census: Varies
• Support Staff: Clinic Nurse

General Requirements:
• State License: Active NY license
• Board-Certification: YES, BC in Pediatrics
• Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience in outpatient Pediatrics
• Life Certifications: BLS, PALS
• DEA/CSR: Active DEA required
