Setting: in patient psych population
Start Date: 2/10/2025
Shift/Schedule: 5x8 Days
Contract Length: 4 months up to 2 years if you are wanting something ongoing
Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
General Requirements: The facility is seeking a Pediatrician who can handle a heavy patient caseload, requires extensive walking, multiple locations or wards within the facility, etc. The pediatrician operates mostly in the pediatrics clinic supported by a clinic nurse. They serve an in-patient psychiatric population. Evaluating new admissions, patients with medical problems, ordering labs and consults and following up on the results. They work with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate the case. It may require walking to the units or the admissions area. This is a coverage job meaning we will ask the pediatrician to cover when one of our staff is out. The case load are all the patients in the inpatient campus they are covering (can go up to 45 patients). May be asked to provide coverage in our other campus.
Skills/Procedures Required: NY License, Active DEA, 2yrs PEDS experience
Patient Volume: can go up to 45 patients
