Job description

🩺 Specialty: Pediatrics Physician

📅 Start Date: ASAP, No later than September

⏰ Schedule: 20 shifts per month; 12-hour shifts; mostly nights; needing 2 providers to fill

📜 Certification: BC Pediatrics required; must be proficient in newborn resuscitation, including intubation and umbilical line placement

🔍 Responsibilities: Care for newborns (including well-newborns, Level II NICU, and delivery attendance), pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults

🔄 Miscellaneous: Mainly night shifts with some flexibility, support provided by OBs, midwives, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and family practice physicians. Pediatric subspecialty/NICU/PICI support available by phone. Maine license preferred, but willing to consider travel.
