JOB DESCRIPTION

An established medical center 30 minutes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has an open Pediatrician position.

About the Position:

Schedule: 8a-5p, 4-day workweek
Call, 10-days per month
Annual Volume: 400 deliveries
Daily Volume: 15-20 patients
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Competitive base salary + RVUs
32 days of PTO
5 days for CMEs + $3k allowance

QUALIFICATIONS

Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Pediatrics
Open to Residents and Fellows
Open to Visa Candidates
​​​Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician Louisiana state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Pediatrician
One year of EMR experience

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
