JOB DESCRIPTION

A medical center 30 minutes from Dallas, Texas, has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist their Pediatric ICU.

Opening Details:

Schedule: 13-hour shifts
Types of Patients: Asthmatics, DKA, ingestions, chronic ventilations
EMR: Epic

QUALIFICATIONS

Current, unrestricted, Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant active license
Current DEA registration
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas
Board certification
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Strong proficiency in diagnosing and managing pediatric acute and chronic conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Be highly collaborative, and enjoy leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation
Confident in his/her ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
