Pediatric Nephrologist needed in Kentucky

Start Date: 8/16/25
Contract Length: 26 weeks, ongoing
Shift Details:
Looking for 24 hour call coverage, MUST be able to cover weekends. Weekend call coverage required
Flexible on amount of coverage needed
Also open to considering providers who would like to do clinic coverage in addition to call *pending more information from client on clinic coverage details

Work Details:
• Support staff: pending
• Amount of coverage needed per month: flexible, ideally looking for at least 1 week of call coverage including the weekend
• Patients per day: pending
• Patient population/age: 0-18
• Department description: bread and better pediatric nephrology, level 1 pediatric trauma facility
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital bed size:
• Special procedures: pending
• Skills required:
o Must be comfortable taking 24-hour call
o Must be proficient in caring for pre/post op transplant patients
Practice Setting:
• Academic/Training
• Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Board Certified in Pediatric Nephrology
o Willing to consider truly board eligible providers
o Must have completed a pediatric nephrology fellowship
• License required: Willing to license, IMLC strongly preferred
• DEA: Yes, required for KY
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: must have at least 1 year working in pediatric nephrology and taking call for pediatric nephrology

Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days

• Ongoing for 6 months
• Willing to license
• Minimum experience required: must have at least 1 year working in pediatric nephrology and taking call for pediatric nephrology
