Pediatric Hospitalist needed in Harrisburg, PA

Job description

• Start date: 2/3/25
• Support staff: will work solo. Other specialties onsite: PICU, Peds Anesthesia, Peds Gastroenterology, Peds Endocrinology
• Coverage Type: 14 shifts monthly estimate
• Schedule Details: full time
7a-7p General Pediatrics - covering avg of 7 pediatric patients on the floor and consults in the ED
7a-7p Newborn - covering an average of 20 newborns. 7p-7a General Pediatrics and Newborn- covering all 3 areas (general peds and newborn, and consults in the ED).
Typically 12 hour shifts. They said that it could be 24 hours but they don’t prefer to make their people work 24 hour shifts unless its requested. They did an hourly rate so that it can apply to whatever length the shift would be

• Practice Setting: this is a level one nursery that is covered by the pediatric hospitalist. There is a level 3 NICU on site staffed by Neonatology.
