*Vacation Coverage* Pediatric Hospitalist MD/DO needed in Cedar Rapids, IA

Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist – MD/DO
Start Date: 08/21/2024
Contract Length: One Week
Shift Details: 7 Shifts; 8 – 12 hours
Schedule: 08/21/2024 – 08/29/2024; 8/22 – 7a-3p + night call (backup for APRN); 8/23 – 7a-3p; 8/24-8/26 7a-3p + night call; 8/27-8/28 – 7a-3p

Work Details:
• Support staff: full hospital support, NP, solo physician
• Patients per day: 1 – 2 patients per day
• Patient population/age: Pediatric
• EMR: EPIC
• Special procedures: Lumbar Puncture
• Skills required: Will do a code blue which draws anesthesiology, emergency medicine, ICU, hospitalists, and ancillary services.
• Practice Setting: Hospital – Inpatient
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, Pediatrics
• State license required: Yes, State of IA. Will accept IMLC
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications required: ACLS

• 1 week vacation coverage
• August dates
• On call
