Pediatric Gastroenterologist needed in Kentucky

Specialty: Peds GI
Start Date: 8/11/25
Contract Length: 6 mo+
Shift Details: 8a-11a clinic, + night call
Schedule: one week/mo
Call requirements: night call & weekend call
Work Details:
• Support staff: RNs, other physicians
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 1 week/mo 1/2 day clinic + night call + weekend call. Will need to round on inpatient daily.
• Patients per day: 4-6 patients/day in clinic. Generally rounding on 2-6 patients daily
• Patient population/age: 0-18
• Department description: Dept covers all peds GI, including upper & lower GI
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital bed size:
• Special procedures: EDG & colonoscopies
• Skills required: must be profiecient in EDG & colonoscopies
Practice Setting:
• Academic/Training
• Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, required in peds GI
• License required: KY or IMLC
• DEA: Yes, required KY
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: Open/flexible on experience. Must have peds GI experience.
Credentialing Timeframe: 120-190 days

• Ongoing for 6 months
• 7 days a month of coverage needed
• Willing to license if apart of the IMLC currently
