Pediatric Critical Care opportunity
*Willing to Provide housing and travel stipend if needed*
Start Date- Flexible - 90 days credentialing
Contract Length: 13 weeks with the option to extend
Shift Details: 3 12-hours shifts, rotating (Day & Night; but primarily looking for night shifts)
Schedule: Full time position, Rotating, with weekends
Work Details: • Support staff: Lead APRNs, APRN Director • Patients per day: 6-10 patients • Patient population/age: Providing care to infants, children, and families for management of critical illnesses. • Department description: Our 46-bed MSICU cares for medical and surgical patients ranging for newborn to early adult. The patient population is diverse with a variety of medical and surgical needs. Our newborn population is primarily patients with congenital diaphragmatic hernia or need for extra corporal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) soon after birth. EMR: Cerner • Hospital bed size: 46 beds (55 when expansion is completed) • Skills required: Front-line care and coordination of complex critically ill patients in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) including assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, bedside procedures, and family centered care of patients and their families.
