24 hour shifts- PICU APP Coverage in Dallas, TX

Job description

- Specialty: PICU AP/PA
- Coverage Dates Needed: August/September 2024 - 13 weeks with option to extend
- Schedule: 24hr shift coverage 7a-7a; 6.6 shifts/month
- Call: none
- Types of patients: Asthmatics, DKA, Ingestions, and chronic ventilations
- Certification Requirements: Acute Care Certification required OR Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
One year of pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in PICU, ICU, or ER preferred.
- Credentialing Timeframe: emergency temporary privileges given
- Credentialing Requirements: Clean Background, Active TX license
- Travel provided
- Miscellaneous Information: The unit consists of 6-8 beds. Candidates need to be comfortable with working autonomously. The unit will consist of 1 APP and 1 physician. Interested candidates will need a minimum of 1 year relative PICU experience.
