Locum Pediatric Cardiologist

Job description

An Acute Care Hospital in WA is seeking a dedicated Locum Pediatric Cardiologist to provide comprehensive Pediatric Cardiology care. This role involves a combination of clinic duties, hospital consultations, remote reads, and ECMO support. The position requires availability for 24-hour call, including weekends.

Responsibilities:
• Provide pediatric cardiology care in multiple clinic settings.
• Conduct on-site hospital consultations at 1-2 locations.
• Perform remote reads for Echos, EKGs, holter monitors, and other cardiology tests for multiple locations.
• Offer ECMO support at one designated location.
• Manage 24-hour call responsibilities, including clinic, ED consultations, and transfer center coordination for 1-3 hospitals.

Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Proficient in interpreting Echos, EKGs, and holter monitors.
• Experienced in providing ECMO support.
• Comfortable with a 24-hour call schedule, including nights and weekends.
