Job description

Start Date: August 2024

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift Details: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Night Shift, Start Time: 18:30

Schedule: 36 hours per week

Work Details:

Support Staff: NP/PA, MD
Coverage Needed: 3 x 12-hour shifts per month
Patients per Day: 5 – 25
Patient Population/Age: Pediatric
Department Description: Pediatric Cardiology
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC
Hospital Bed Size: 477
Special Procedures: Not Applicable
Skills Required: The unit provides close monitoring and high-dependency care for a variety of cardiac conditions. This includes the emergency management of heart defects and the immediate and long-term management of other cardiac conditions, including heart failure and heart arrhythmias.
Practice Setting: Hospital

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Pediatrics and/or Cardiology
State License: Must have a valid Massachusetts state license
DEA: Required
CSR: Required
Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Minimum Experience: 2 years
