Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

Opportunity Overview

A well-respected hospital in Nebraska is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible ENT (Otolaryngologist) to provide holiday coverage and ongoing locums support. This opportunity begins with Thanksgiving and Christmas coverage and extends into 2026 with a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation.

The position offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient surgical care, and call responsibilities, making it a great fit for physicians who enjoy variety and independence in a supportive environment.

Work Details

Coverage Type: Scheduled hours + call coverage

Clinic Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

Surgery Day: Thursday

Call Coverage: Monday–Sunday (times TBD)

Holiday Blocks:

November 16–30, 2025

December 14–28, 2025

Ongoing Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Setting: 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient (surgical)

Support Staff: 2 LPNs (no APPs)

Trauma Level: II

EMR: Epic

Solo Coverage

Patient Population & Procedures

Patient Demographics: 60% adult | 40% pediatric | 1% trauma

General ENT Procedures: Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, PE tubes

Non-Surgical Services: Allergy desensitization, hearing evaluations, and other office-based ENT care

Surgical Skills Required: Laryngoscopy, tracheostomy

Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Otolaryngology)

Board Eligibility: Accepted

License: Active Nebraska license (or willing to obtain)

Certifications: BLS (preferred)
