ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2837390
• Location: Idaho
• Start date: Late July
• Schedule Details:
o July 25 (begin at 5p), 26, 27 until 0700 7/28
o September 5(begin at 5p), 6, 7 until 0700 9/8
o November 7 (begin at 5p), 8, 9 until 0700 11/10
o November forward TBD
• Support staff: Will work with 3 other ortho trauma fellowship trained surgeons
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Sporadic Shifts
• Patient population/age: Average case load per block is 3-5 cases during the summer
• Types of Cases: upper extremity, lower extremity, periarticular fractures, pelvic/acetabular fractures. Will NOT see: Joint replacements, sports injuries (ACL/RC tears), diabetic foot and hand/wrist
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 378
• Skills required: Experience taking call in a trauma center, treating periarticular fractures and pelvis/acetabulum fractures.
• Required: Board Certified, Trauma Fellowship, Active ID license or IMLC **Will License, DEA/CSR
