ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
• Location: About an hour and a half SW of Minneapolis
• Target Start: March
• Length of commitment: 3 – 6 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details:
o March 7-14 or 10-16
o April 11-18
o May 23-29
o July 3-11
o Aug 1-7
o September forward TBD
• Support Staff: 2 APPs; 1 Orthopedic Assistant; 3 Athletic Trainers; 3 LPNs
• Patients per day: 25-35
• Patient Population/Age: Varies
• Department Description: Very active, collaborative department with generalist practice including trauma, total joint replacement, arthroscopic; sports med. Very integrated medical center with 20 specialties and built-in primary care referral.
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Bed size: 25 inpatient
• Special Procedures: No robot.
• Skills Required: Generalist ortho surgery
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active MN License or IMLC, DEA
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
