Location: Harlan, Kentucky (Approximately 90 miles northeast of Knoxville, Tennessee- home to the University of Tennessee) Harlan, located in the Appalachian Mountains, is a small, historic town surrounded by stunning mountain scenery HCO: A regional healthcare facility located in Harlan, Kentucky with 76 beds. It provides a variety of medical services to the residents of Harlan County and surrounding areas, including emergency care, surgery, imaging, and outpatient services. Opportunity: Locums/Locums to Perm Orthopedic Surgeon * Start Date/Duration: ASAP; ongoing. Locums to perm option available * Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Call schedule: 7am - 7am * Paid travel and lodging * General orthopedics: Total joints. Fractures. Carpal tunnels. Arthroscopie * Must be Kentucky licensed (active or pending); BC/BE * Open to 2 weeks on 2 weeks off * EMR: MediTech * Average patient census: 15 per shift Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
