Outpatient Neuro-Spine Surgery APP Needed in San Francisco, CA

Job description

Position Details:
• Start Date: June 2, 2025 | Contract: 6 months
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM | No weekends, holidays, or call
• Setting: Outpatient neurosurgery clinic
• Team: 7 APPs supporting 5 surgeons & 2 physiatrists
• Duties: Post-op & follow-ups, triaging, ordering imaging/medications, minor procedures (staple/drain removal, wound care)
• Patients: 20-22 per day (up to 26 w/ telehealth)
• Charting: Epic EMR

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• 2-3 years minimum in ortho spine, neuro spine, or spine pain management
• Neurosurgery or neurology providers with spine experience may be considered
• Experience with trigger point, hip, and/or knee injections is a plus but not required

Requirements:
• License: Active CA license
• Certifications: BLS, DEA w/ Schedule 2 & 2N
• Credentialing: 60-90 days
