Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Job description

This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.



Details & requirements for this opportunity:



Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 Hours daily (8:30am-5:00pm with a one hour meal and rest period (12:30pm-1:30pm)).
Setting: Clinic, Hospital Rounding, and Operating Room First Assist.
Cases: One to two days per week the provider will be doing First Assist cases. The rest of the week the provider would be on hospital duty which includes clinic and rounding patients.
Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 day.
Licensure: Active California license is required.
Certifications: Active Board Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required. Nurse Practitioners are required to have their Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Certification.

• 6 months with option to extend
• Monday-Friday, No Weekend, No Call
• Cases: One to two days per week the provider will be doing First Assist cases. The rest of the week the provider would be on hospital duty which includes clinic and rounding patients.
