CRNA Locum Opportunity – Maine

Job description

Work Details:
• Support Staff: OR nurses, MDs
• Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred; PRN and vacation coverage also considered
• Patient Population: Primarily adults, with some pediatrics
• Department Overview:
o Team: 3 CRNAs, 1 full-time Anesthesiologist/Director
o Supervision Model: CRNAs work under supervision
o Cases: General, Ortho, ENT, Urology, OBGYN (No cardiac or neuro cases)
• Special Procedures: Must be comfortable with epidurals and nerve blocks
• Skills Required: Blocks and OB experience required
• EMR: Cerner
• Facility Details:
o Hospital Bed Size: 25 beds
o Operating Rooms: 3 ORs

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Travel & Lodging:
• Lodging: Provided by the hospital (nearby accommodations available)
• Travel: Flights and car rental covered

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active Maine (ME) license or willingness to obtain
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (boosters not mandatory)
• Experience: New grads accepted, but experience preferred

Credentialing:
• Standard Timeline: 90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Available for candidates with a clean file
