Ophthalmologist in South Pacific

Our practice is seeking a truly comprehensive ophthalmologist to start February 2025 to serve the 50,000 people of the US island of Saipan (and its neighboring islands) in the beautiful South Pacific. This is a great position for someone looking to live in a diverse community of cultures and ethnicities and to be of true service to an appreciative population. We are considering all applicants — full-time, part-time, and locums. All physicians must hold a full unrestricted medical license in the US or Canada.

Fundamentally, we need a physician who can handle a varied range of patients, and who can work efficiently, seeing 38-50 patients per day. We will consider medical ophthalmologists, and save up the surgery for a visiting surgeon, though our preference is to have a truly comprehensive ophthalmologist.
