Locum Tenens Ophthalmology Physician – Glaucoma (IA/IL)
A multi‑office ophthalmology practice is seeking one Board‑Certified Ophthalmologist with Glaucoma Fellowship training for locum tenens coverage.
Job Details:

Dates: January 1, 2027 – May 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday 8:00am–12:00pm
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: Average 30–40 patients per day
Locations: Two offices within 30 minutes of each other (Iowa and Illinois)
Support Staff: 1 additional physician and 1 nurse practitioner
Coverage Need: Only one provider will be accepted

Clinical Scope:

Cataract surgery
Cataract surgery with Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS)

Requirements:

Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Completed Glaucoma Fellowship
Eligible for licensure in Iowa and Illinois

Additional Information:

Credentialing Timeframe: 0–30 days
EMR/EHR: NextGen (EHR) and Forum (imaging)
