Description

We are a leading occupational medicine clinic focused on reducing healthcare costs and improving employee productivity. We provide urgent and appointment-based care for work-related injuries and illnesses, along with tailored rehab programs to support timely returns to work.

Summary /Objective

As a Staff Physician with us, you will enhance the patient experience by delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage patient flow, deliver compassionate treatment, and communicate care plans effectively.

Essential Functions

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, manage work restrictions, and support safe return-to-work plans.

Conduct and interpret OSHA, DOT, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work exams.

Order labs, imaging, and referrals; prescribe medications as necessary.

Perform minor procedures such as wound care and foreign body removal.

Communicate treatment plans, test results, and follow-up instructions to patients, employers, and clinical staff.

Ensure a smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and minimizing wait times.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and EMR.

Provide support and supervision to clinical staff, including Physician Assistants, as needed.

Respond effectively to emergencies and perform stabilization when required.

Uphold HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety protocols.

Job duties may change to meet clinic needs.





Requirements

Education/Experience/Skills

MD or DO with unrestricted California license.

DOT certification required (or obtain within 30 days of employment).

BCLS, CPR, and AED certified; DEA and California drug licenses.

Knowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations, and EMR experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Occupational Medicine is a plus.
