Ohio OB/GYN Locum Opportunity | 24-Hr Call

Job description

OB/GYN locum tenens opportunity in Ohio starting ~July 2025. This position offers a flexible schedule with a likely need for 6–12 months of ongoing coverage.

Details at a glance:
📍 Location: 1 hour north of Columbus Ohio
📅 Start Date: July 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
🕒 Schedule: 1–2 weekdays and/or 1–2 weekends/month of 24-hour call
📞 Call Coverage: L&D, GYN emergencies, and urgent clinic calls for 3 MDs, 2 midwives, and 1 NP

Practice Environment:
Support from in-house laborist for concurrent deliveries
Patient population: Women ages 18–65+
Average: ~1 delivery/day + variable phone consults
Procedures include vaginal deliveries, c-sections, emergency gyn surgeries

Requirements:
Board Certified OB/GYN
Active OH license (or willing to obtain)
DEA + BLS required
5–10 years of experience preferred
Credentialing takes ~60 days
