OB Hospitalist – Texas

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length:
• Ongoing coverage

Schedule:
• Flexible ongoing coverage
• Inpatient hospital setting

Top Highlights:
• Ongoing assignment with long-term coverage needs
• Maternal Level III and NICU Level III facility
• Hospital-based practice with no clinic responsibilities
• Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary OB team

Practice Details:
• Inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage
• Evaluate and manage obstetric patients presenting to Labor & Delivery and the OB Emergency Department
• Provide consultations for hospitalized obstetric patients
• Coordinate transfers for high-risk and critically ill obstetric patients
• Provide surgical first assist support to OB/GYN physicians
• Cover the obstetrical triage unit and evaluate patients presenting with signs of labor or other acute obstetric concerns
• Meditech EMR

Requirements:
• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Active Texas medical license
• Minimum of 5 years of OB experience
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60 to 90 days
